Fukuchi find festival, patisserie Kurumino-ki

On Oct.5, a event of sweets was held in Fukuchi-machi, Tagawa-gun, in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Over 40 sweets shops in Fukuoka Prefecture had gathered at this event.
There was a display of patisserie which was famous for having delicious Mont Blanc cakes.

This was the display of patisserie, "Kurumino-ki".
The sweets shop is located in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

the display was very popular,so there was a long line of people.
My sister got in that line and she purchased some Mont Blanc cakes.



That was the famous Mont Blanc cake.
It looked like a mountain.

The Mont Blanc cake had strong taste of the chestnut and refined sweetness.
It was excellent!!

I want to try other cakes at this patisserie !!

Fukuchi find festival, patisserie Alapaysanne

On Oct.5, a event of sweets was held in Fukuchi-machi, Tagawa-gun, in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Over 40 sweets shops in Fukuoka Prefecture had gathered at this event.
I found that my favorite patisserie displayed at this event.

This was the display of my favorite patisserie, "Alapaysanne".
Alapaysanne is in Onga-cho, Onga-gun, in Fukuoka Prefecture.

This patisserie is famous for having delicious Baumkuchen.
I purchased some cakes,not a Baumkuchen at this event.

I bought cakes of Chiboust and Mont Blanc.
The cake of Chiboust with apples was very sweet, but it had tartness of apples.
The cake of Mont Blanc had heavy taste of the chestnut.
Both cakes were very delicious!!

That's my favorite!!

Fukuchi find festival, a custard pudding

On Oct.5, a event of sweets was held in Fukuchi-machi, Tagawa-gun, in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Over 40 sweets shops in Fukuoka Prefecture had gathered at this event.

I went to the event, and I bought a custard pudding.
The custard pudding was unique.

This was the unique pudding,it was the soy sauce pudding!!
The soy sauce pudding was made by adding soy sauce.

It looked like a normal pudding.
The fragrance was not different from a normal pudding.

The pudding had some salty tastes by soy sauce, but it was a heavy pudding.
I felt sweetness and saltiness.
It was delicious !!

On Oct.5, a event of sweets was held in Fukuchi-machi, Tagawa-gun, in Fukuoka Prefecture.



I went to the event with my family.
Today I'd like to introduce the event,"Fukuchi find festival".

Over 40 sweets shops in Fukuoka Prefecture had gathered at this event.

We arrived at the event place around 10:00, but people were lined up in front of famous sweets shops.

There were many people who were lined up in front of the most famous sweets shop in Fukuoka, "16-ku".
A patissier who is the owner of 16-ku,he is very famous that he arranged Dacquoise in Japanese style.

It was hard for me to line up,so I went to a sweet shop that I could purchase sweets without lining up.
I bought a cream puff.

The flavor of this cream was very rich, and it was good.

I loved it.

I will introduce a pudding on the next time !!

The famous confection of Okinawa, Chinsuko

Today I'd like to introduce "Chinsuko".

Chinsuko is a famous confection of Okinawa prefecture.

Okinawa prefecture is located in the southwestern part of Japan.
It is a prefecture consisting of 363 islands.

Okinawa is in a subtropical region, and popular resort area.

This is "Chinsuko".

Chinsuko is a kind of cookies and traditional sweets cooked in Okinawa.
It is crunchy and delicious.
Chinsuko is made of lard, not butter, so it gives you heartburn when you eat too much.

Be careful of eating too much !!


As well as Kyushu and Okinawa, there are lots of famous confections in Japan.
I will introduce famous confections of other areas at the next opportunity.

The famous confection of Nagasaki, Kasutera

Today I'd like to introduce "Kasutera".

Kasutera is a famous confection of Nagasaki prefecture.

Nagasaki prefecture is located in the west end of Kyushu Island, and it is famous that Nagasaki city have been bombed with nuclear weapons in World War II.

Nagasaki historically traded with Europe and China in olden times,so Nagasaki has a culture that is a mixture of East and West.

This is "Kasutera".
It is a kind of sponge cakes which is baked with honey added.
Kasutera is moist and soft.
It is sweet and delicious.

Kasutera is loved as Japanese confectionery throughout Japan, but I think that Kasutera of Nagasaki is the most delicious !!

You should try it.

The famous confection of Kagoshima, Shirokuma

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

Today I'd like to introduce "Shirokuma".

Shirokuma is a famous confection of Kagoshima prefecture.
In reality,Shirokuma isn't a famous confection,it is a famous local specialty.

Shirokuma is the frozen sweets which is originally from Kagoshima.
It is shaved ice having condensed milk on top with fruits.
Shirokuma is sweet and is delicious.

This is the restaurant where is the origin of Shirokuma, "Mujaki".
Shirokuma means a white bear, because the arrangement of this frozen sweets looks like the face of a white bear,

You can always eat Shirokuma in Kagoshima.
