My cat loves a kerosene fan heater.

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

Yesterday, the first snow came in Fukuoka where I live in.
It became bitterly cold.

I cannot live without a kerosene fan heater.
My cat is sensitive to cold, so my cat loves a kerosene fan heater, too.
How much does my cat love it....

My cat stays on the top of the kerosene fan heater hour after hour.
We have trouble because my cat switches off the kerosene fan heater by mistake.
That can't be helped.

Look!!
My cat slept comfortably.

The top of the kerosene fan heater is the special place of my cat.

Okinawa trip : 8

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend, last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

After eating a hamburger, we returned the rental car.
We had time a little more, so we decided to take a walk through downtown in Naha.

This is the Kokusai-street which is a big shopping street in Naha.

There are many souvenir shops in the street.
The street is bustling with tourists.

These are ornaments of the Shisa.
Shisa is a traditional Ryukyuan decoration, often in pairs.
People in Okinawa place pairs of shisa on their rooftops or flanking the gates to their houses, for protection from some evils.

The Shisa becomes the mascot representing Okinawa.

The Shisa is drawn on the entrance of the Makishi public market which is a tourist attraction.

My friend bought the ornament of the Shisa for a souvenir.
We enjoyed  shopping of the souvenir.

We arrived at the Naha airport at 17:00 and came back to Fukuoka by airplane of 18:00 PM.
Our total times in Okinawa were only 19 hours, but my friend was happy about this trip.

I want to go to Okinawa again.
