Chikugo-Drive :Ma-boya

This is May in Japan.

I went for a drive to Chikugo area, last month.
Fruit and wheat cultivation are thriving in this area.
So, there are many bakeries and patisserie in the area.

I visited Yoshii-machi where it had an old town scenery remaining.
I found a restaurant which seemed to be good.

This is the restaurant,"Ma-boya".
It is a specialty restaurant of mabu-doufu.
Mabu-doufu is a kind of Chinese food.
It is tofu with a spicy sauce.

I ordered mabu-doufu.
This set was 680 yen included rice and soup, it was a reasonable price.

Japanese pepper and the hotness of the red pepper were so good.
It was full of fragrances and was delicious !!

I made an additional order of a almond jelly.
It was very delicious with refined sweetness.

I wanted to visit this restaurant again !!

Chikugo-Drive :pan no mocca

I went for a drive to Chikugo area, last month.
Fruit and wheat cultivation are thriving in this area.
So, there are many bakeries and patisserie in the area.

Next, I went to Yoshii-machi where old cityscape is left.
Yoshii-machi is famous for the old houses of white wall.
I like this wonderful cityscape.

I visited the bakery located in Yoshii-machi.
The name of the bakery was "Pan no mocca".

It is the baker of the Japanese house matched it with a scene of old cityscape.

It is an appearance like a shop of traditional Japanese confectionary.

I bought this bread.
It was the bread of the leek.
It was a bread with leeks and bacon.
The leek was an unexpected combination, but the texture was strange and very delicious !!

I bought many breads again..
And I went to eat lunch...

Chikugo-Drive :chez sagara

I went for a drive to Chikugo area, last month.

Chikugo area is located in South Fukuoka.
It is a flat stretch of land along Chikugo river.
Fruit and wheat cultivation are thriving in this area.
So, there are many bakeries and patisserie in the area.

I went to Chikugo area to buy delicious breads and cakes.

First, I visited this bakery.
The name of the bakery is "chez sagara".

It is the building of the atmosphere such as south France.

It is a very stylish bakery!!

I love it !!

I bought this bread.
It is the brioche flavored with cocoa containing raisins which are soaked in balsamic vinegar.
The topping is raspberry jam.

It was delicate bread such as the cakes.
It was tasty.

I bought many breads at this bakery.
And I went to the next shop...

Four years passed...

Four years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake struck on March 11, 2011.
It has brought about significant damage in the Tohoku and Kanto areas.

The stricken area is reconstructing,but the support is still necessary.
I think that I want to support them as much as possible.

I give my deepest sympathies.

Sakuranbo no Hana

The Sakuranbo trees are blossoming in our garden.

Sakuranbo means cherry in Japanese.
This tree bears the fruit of the cherry.

My nephew loves cherry picking.
He is looking forward to the cherry picking.

It seems that the tree bears well this year.

The mousse cake of the small bird

Today I'd like to introduce a cute cake.

This is the mousse cake of the small bird.

It is sold only at Seven-Eleven.

Look !!
It is like a real small bird !!!

It's so cute !!
I have hesitated about eating it, because it was too cute...

It is a mousse of the cream cheese containing a mousse of the strawberry.
The mousse of cream cheese is very rich, but the mousse of the strawberry is refreshing.

It is very tasty.
It's so cute and delicious !!!

Kotatsu cat

Before,I introduced the kotatsu.

Though it is spring,but it is still pretty cold.

My cat loves the kotatsu, too.

My cat sleeps in the kotatsu everyday.
My cat are napping very comfortably.

I cannot put the kotatsu away...
