The festival of Kokura Gion Daiko is held in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City from July 17 to 19.
We can see Kokura Gion Daiko drum everywhere.
It is annual festival of Yasaka-jinja Shrine enshrined in Kokura Castle, and an old festival having the history of about 390 years.
The sound of drums is heard around Kokura Castle at night.
That festival is very exciting and fun.
