OKONOMIYAKI is pretty deep !!

This is May in Japan.

Today I'd like to introduce one of Japanese foods,"OKONOMIYAKI."

OKONOMIYAKI is a kind of pancake containing various ingredients.
We can put in OKONOMIYAKI whatever we like.

"OKONOMI" means "whatever you like", "YAKI" means bake.
Any ingredient will do.

There are 2  kinds of OKONOMIYAKI.
"Kansai style" and "Hiroshima style.".

This is Kansai style OKONOMIYAKI.
It originated in the Kansai region.
We mix all the the ingredients and bake it.

This is Hiroshima style OKONOMIYAKI.
It originated in Hiroshima.
This is such as the crepe sandwiching cabbage, pork,  noodles in between.

It is difficult for people to cook Hiroshima style OKONOMIYAKU at the home.
When we cook OKONOMIYAKI at home, it's Kansai style.

Next time, I'll introduce a useful thing that we cook OKONOMIYAKI at home.
