Hello.
This is May in Japan.
Today I'd like to introduce "SYOKUPAN".
SYOKUPAN is a type of sliced bread which made with white flour, milk, oils and fats.
SYOKUPAN is similar to regular sandwich bread in English.
It is to be had at any bakers, supermarkets, convenience stores in Japan.
SYOKUPAN is written in Japanese as 食パン.
Japanese people love this SYOKUPAN, because this bread has a soft and glutinous texture with good crispiness.
We usually use this bread for making sandwiches or for toasting.
Japanese people call the crust of a slice of bread "PAN no MIMI".
"PAN no MIMI" literally means "ears of the bread",because it is the custom called the human ear in the edge of a superficial thing,in Japan.
"SYOKUPAN" is delicious so please try it.
