Souvenir of Miyazaki : langue de chat of Miyazaki Mango

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

Today I'd like to introduce the souvenir of Miyazaki.

This is the langue de chat of Miyazaki Mango. 

It is cookies filled with mango chocolate.

The mango chocolate is so rich.
It has strong flavor of mango.

This is very delicious!!

This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

After I bought souvenirs, I went to Miyazaki Station.

I took the 6pm limited express train at Miyazaki station.
This limited express train terminates at Oita.
I had to change trains at Oita station.

This limited express train had few reserved seats.
However, there were few passengers.
I could relax again.

I bought a rice ball at a convenience store, so I ate it on the train.
It was the Chicken Nanban of rice ball.
This is a product of the South Kyushu District limitation including Miyazaki Prefectures.

The ingredients of rice ball were Chicken Nanban and tartar sauce.
That was so delicious.

I fully enjoyed authentic flavors of Miyazaki and the scenery of train window.
I went home at 11:00 p.m.

That was a short trip but fun for me !!

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

After I took a break at the beach, I came back by the bicycle in Miyazaki city.

I returned the bicycle which I rented.

I took a walk through Miyazaki city.
I bought a fully ripened mango from Miyazaki at a vegetable shop of the department store.

The mango was cheap since it was a sale.
It was 800 yen.
The fully ripened mangos are Miyazaki's specialty goods.

I ate the mango at home,it was so sweet.
I haven't eaten something that delicious mango.
It was a good souvenir for my family.

After I bought souvenirs, I went to Miyazaki Station.

Miyazaki day trip:6

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

After I ate the Mango shaved ice, I restarted cycling.
I rode the bicycle 5 kms from the Miyazaki-jingu Shrine.

I arrived at the beach in Miyazaki city.

This is the sun beach Hitotsuba.
It is an artificial beach.

There are green areas and sidewalks.
That place felt very good.
Many people enjoyed walking and jogging there.

I took a break for a while in a beach.
And,I came back by the bicycle in Miyazaki city.

Miyazaki day trip:5

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

After I visited Miyazaki-jingu Shrine, I went to a cafe near Miyazaki-jingu Shrine.

This is a Taiwanese cafe,"ChaYueTan".
This cafe is popular with serving Taiwanese dessert and tea.

I ate the Mango Shaved ice.
The mango was very sweet and delicious !!

I was able to cool-down by shaved ice.
I restarted cycling.

Miyazaki day trip:4

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

I was cycling under the blue sky.
It took 20 minutes by bicycle from downtown.

I arrived Miyazaki-jingu Shrine in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
Miyazaki-jingu Shrine has a long history.

The approach of the shrine is covered with big trees.
It felt cool.

Miyazaki-jingu Shrine is the shinto shrine which honor Emperor Jinmu.
The shrine gate was carved with the Imperial Crest of the Chrysanthemum.

This is the place to bow in the direction of the Miyazaki-jingu Shrine.
I prayed for my safety during the trip.

I was able to fully enjoy nature and get refreshed at Miyazaki-jingu Shrine.
It was a nice place !!

Miyazaki day trip:3

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.

After I ate lunch, I walked to downtown of Miyazaki-city.

I went to Miyazaki Art Center.
Miyazaki Art Center is the public cultural facility.
It has exhibit space and library.

I rented a bicycle there.
We can rent bicycles for 300 yen a day there.
(We need to pay 500 yen for the returnable deposit in addition.)

I decided to enjoy cycling under the blue sky.

Miyazaki day trip:2

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went for a one-day trip to Miyazaki alone on June 4.
It took 5 hours to Miyazaki by the limited express train.

I arrived at Miyazaki station at eleven thirty.

This is Miyazaki station.
It is the scenery such as the tropical country.

It was hot and humid.
I took off my jacket for excessive humidity.

I walked 10 minutes from the Miyazaki station and went to a restaurant to eat lunch.

This is the restaurant,"OGURA".
It is a Western food restaurant.

This restaurant is famous for Chicken Nanban.
Chicken nanban is a fried chicken dipped in sweet vinegar.
It is a local cuisine originally created in Miyazaki Prefecture.

The restaurant "OGURA" serve Chicken nanban with tartar sauce.
"Chicken nanban with tartar sauce" is the most popular variation.
It originated from OGURA.

The chicken was very tender.
The sweet vinegar was not too sweet and not too sour.
The tartar sauce was so creamy.

The most delicious Chicken Nanban I have ever eaten so far.
I was very satisfied with the lunch.

Miyazaki day trip:1

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went traveling alone to Miyazaki on June 4.
It was a day-trip.

Miyazaki is located in the southeast of Kyushu Island.
It took 5 hours to Miyazaki by the limited express train.
My total time in Miyazaki was only 6 hours, but I really enjoyed it.

I took the 6am limited express train at Unoshima station in Fukuoka prefecture.
The name of this limited express train is "Nichirin Seagaia",it terminates at Miyazaki.

The seat was very comfortable.
I could relax, because there were few passengers.

I enjoyed the scenery of the train window.

The green of trees was so bright.

I saw the beautiful ravine.

The scenery of the train window did not make me get tired.
Time just flew because it was so very fun.
