Yonago souvenir : Tottori Sando Curry

I went for a one-day trip to Yonago. 

Yonago is located in the Sea of Japan side , and it is one of cities of Tottori prefecture. 

Yonago city is included in Chugoku region. 

There are many foods that I've never seen before in Kyusyu region.

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Tottori Sando Carry".

Ii is the souvenir of Tottori prefecture. 

The Sando come on Festival is held in Tottori prefecture from December 6, 2018 to January 14, 2019. 

It is the collaboration product of Pokémon and Tottori prefecture. 

This is the retort curry. 

I purchased this retort curry for the souvenir of my nephews. 

I did not eat it, but they said that the curry was delicious.

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Sand coffee gaufrette".

Ii is the souvenir of Tottori prefecture. 

Tottori-sakyu Sand Dunes is a famous sightseeing spot of Tottori. 

The coffee roasted with the sand of Tottori-sakyu Sand Dunes is called sand coffee. It is famous. 

It is the small confection comprising two thin waffle-like biscuits with coffee cream between them.

The coffee cream has the sweetness and bitterness. 

The thin waffle-like biscuits are crispy.

It is so delicious. 

Yonago souvenir : Tochi mochi

Yonago city is included in Chugoku region. 

There are many foods that I've never seen before in Kyusyu region.

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Tochi-Mochi".

Ii is the souvenir of Yonago city. 

The price is around 760yen. 

There are 6 packs. 

Tochi mochi is a rice cake made by steaming conkers after removal of harshness. 

Tochi mochi includes sweet bean paste in it. 

It is sweet, and it tastes unique.

It is interesting !!

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Bara pan".

Bara pan means Rose bread. 

It is sold only around Shimane prefecture. 

I bought it at a supermarket in Yonago city. 

This is a rose-shaped bread, containing vanilla cream. 

The bread is dried out a little bit. 

The vanilla cream is sweet. 

It is nice !!

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Itadaki".

The Itadaki is a local specialty of Yonago City.

I bought it at a supermarket in Yonago city. 

This is a kind of the inarizushi. 

Inarizushi is the vinegared rice wrapped in deep-fried bean curd, but Itadaki is the glutinous rice steamed with chicken and wrapped in deep-fried bean curd. 

The glutinous rice is so tasty. 

It is very delicious.

This is it, "White rose coffee".

It is sold only in the Chugoku region and Kinki region. 

This is the cafe au lait which used 70% of milk.

The milk is the fresh milk from Tottori. 

The taste of milk is so thick !!!

The sweetness is mild. 

It is very delicious.

I'd like to introduce the food that I found at  Yonago city. 

This is it, "Gozaemon zushi".

It is a kind of sushi and it is the speciality of Yonago. 

It is the sushi fermented with mackerel. 

The price is 1200 yen. 

It is the variety pack of pressed sushi, including trout, crab and mackerel.

The vinegar of sushi is strong, but the fish is so thick and delicious.

I went for a one-day trip to Yonago. 

Yonago is located in the Sea of Japan side , and it is one of cities of Tottori prefecture. 

I went to Yonago by the limited express "Super Oki" from Shin-yamaguchi Station. Super Oki is a compact limited express of two formation.

It took about four hours 15 minutes from Shin-Yamaguchi Station to Yonago Station.

I saw angry waves of the Sea of Japan from the train window, and it was very powerful scenery.

It took time, but I really enjoyed it, because of a very unhurried trip.

The reason why I went to Yonago city is Pokemon Go.

The Sando come on Festival is held in Tottori prefecture from December 6, 2018 to January 14, 2019. 

A lot of sando appear in Tottori prefecture until December 19, 2018.

I wanted get the pokemon, so I went Yonago city. 

I got a lot of Alolan sando, because a lot of Alolan sando appeared in Tottori. 

It was so fun !!
