Okinawa trip : 5

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend,last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

After dropping by the cafe, we went to a restaurant to eat lunch.

This is the restaurant,"Makabe China".

The private house was renovated to the restaurant.
The house was built with traditional design of Okinawa.

The house has a good effect.
I loved it.

The restaurant has a Japanese-style drawing room.
It was very comfortable.

I ordered a soba set menu.
It was the set meal which Okinawa soba,mixed rice and side dishes.

All of those were delicious.
I was satisfied very much with that food !!

Okinawa trip : 4

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend,last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

After visiting Shuri Castle,we went to a drive to south of Okinawa.
We dropped by a cafe.

The cafe was "Umibe no chaya".
It means a seaside teahouse.

This is the seaside teahouse.
It is adjacent to a coast.

We could overlook a coast from the seats of the windows.

Unfortunately, in ebb, we could not look at a beautiful ocean view.
The sea breeze felt nice.

We made a toast with tropical juice.

Though we were disappointed the ebb, we were healed by the atmosphere of the cafe.

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend,last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

The second day of the trip,that was good weather.
We borrowed a rental car and went for a drive.

At first we went to Shuri Castle in the morning.

This is "Shureimon".
It is a main gate of Shuri Castle.
We went to Shuri Castle passing through this gate.

This is a main shrine of Shuri Castle.
It was the palace of the Ryūkyū Kingdom.

It is unlike the traditional castle of Japan.
Shuri Castle was strongly influenced by Chinese culture,because trade with China was prosperous in the Ryukyu dynasty.

This is an Emperor's chair.
The decoration was very beautiful.

The atmosphere of Shuri Castle was such as the foreign country,that was very wonderful.
We were impressed by Shuri Castle.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend,last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

We arrived at Okinawa and went to a restaurant to eat local Okinawan food.

This was an Okinawa restaurant, "Mikado".
This restaurant was open for 24 hours.
It was very convenience for tourists.

I ordered "Goya chanpuru" of the Okinawan food.

This was "Goya chanpuru".
There were rice and miso soup,the price was just 650 yen.
It was so cheap !!

"Goya chanpuru" was one of the Okinawan food,the fried bitter gourds.
It was fried bitter gourds with tofu and spam.
I felt some bitterness, but it was very delicious.

This was "Okinawa soba" which my friend ordered.
It was also one of the Okinawan food, a filling bowl of thick wheat noodles, pork chunks and stir-fried vegetables in a thick stew.
It was so good.

We were satisfied very much and came back to the hotel.

I went on a trip to Okinawa for 2 days and 1 night with my friend,last month.
It was a short trip, but that was a very fulfilling trip.

Okinawa prefecture is located in the southwestern part of Japan.
It is in a subtropical region, and popular resort area.
We went from our hometown Fukuoka to Okinawa by airplane.

The airline which we used this time was Peach Aviation.
Peach Aviation is a low-cost airline based in Japan.
It is a reputable business that airline tickets are very cheap.
It usually costs one way 15, 000 yen - 20, 000 yen, in the case of Peach Aviation, it is one way 4, 500 yen.

The seats were very small and tight.
It was so uncomfortable.

We went to Okinawa after work on Friday night.
We arrived at Okinawa at 11:00 p.m..

We went to a restaurant to eat local Okinawan food.

I introduced "Cheeks of Peko-chan by Fujiya" last time.

Fujiya offered a new product,recently.
Today I'd like to introduce the new product.

This is the new product,"Cheeks of Peko-chan,Milky cream".
It is made in the image of Milky which is a representative sweets of Fujiya.

It sells for 100 yen same as Cheeks of Peko-chan.

It is a sponge cake with Milky cream in it.
This cream is not custard, it is fresh cream with milk flavor.

The cream is very rich and good !!

Fujiya is a sweets chain and it has many shops.
Today I'd like to introduce a popular product of Fujiya.

This is the popular product,"Cheeks of Peko-chan".
It sells for 100 yen.

"Cheeks of Peko-chan" is a sponge cake with custard in it.
It is very delicious.

It is popular for presents.
We love it !!
