Sightseeing spots and historic sites of Yamaga city : Yamaga lanterns Folk Crafts Museum

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went to Yamaga city, Kumamoto Prefecture, in early November.
The objective of this trip was the sweets fair of Japanese chestnuts at Yamaga city.

Yamaga city is a historical town.
There are many sightseeing spots and historic sites.

This is Yamaga lanterns Folk Crafts Museum.
Yamaga lanterns are traditional crafts.
In the museum are on display the many masterpieces of Yamaga lanterns.

This is Yamaga lantern.
Yamaga lanterns made with only paper.

The Yamaga lantern Festival is held every year from August 15 to 17.
Women put the Yamaga lanterns on the head and dance.

I want to participate in the festival someday..
