A souvenir : Uirou Nama Warabi

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

Today I'd like to introduce the souvenir.

This is it, "Uirou Nama Warabi".
This is a souvenir from Yamaguchi prefecture.

Uirou is the one of Japanese confectioneries.
Nama means raw, Warabi means bracken.
This is the Japanese confectionery made of bracken-root powder.
Uirou is a well-known confectionery of Yamaguchi.

Uirou is the sweet jelly resembling yokan (sweet beans jelly).
Uirou is more elasticity than yokan and it is chewy.

It is sweet and delicious !!
