The stone gate was made in 1804.
It is the circular gate using the cut tuff stones.

It is very rare.
It is popular with many people as a power spot of matchmaking.

Yamaga lanterns are traditional crafts.
In the museum are on display the many masterpieces of Yamaga lanterns.

Yamaga lanterns made with only paper.

The Yamaga lantern Festival is held every year from August 15 to 17.
Women put the Yamaga lanterns on the head and dance.

I want to participate in the festival someday..

This is Sakura-Yu.
It is a largest wooden hot spring on Kyushu Island.

Sakura-Yu had been loved as a citizen's hot spring from the Edo era to the Meiji era.
The present building was reconstructed in 2012.
This hot spring is very mild.
It is an elegant hot spring facility !!

It has a smooth and pleasant taste.

At first, I visited a Japanese old style teahouse.
This is the teahouse, "Aira Cha-ya".
The teahouse is located in the approach to the shrine of temple called the Aira Kannon.

This teahouse is famous for having delicious sweet dumplings.
It is often covered by the media.

This is the sweet dumplings, "Kuri dake Dango".
Kuri dake Dango means the dumpling filling with only chestnuts.

There are 5 dumplings in this 1 pack.
