Sightseeing spots and historic sites of Yamaga city : Sakura-yu

This is May in Japan.

I went to Yamaga city, Kumamoto Prefecture, in early November.
The objective of this trip was the sweets fair of Japanese chestnuts at Yamaga city.

Yamaga city is a historical town.
There are many sightseeing spots and historic sites.
I'd like to introduce the sightseeing spots and historic sites.

This is Sakura-Yu.
It is a largest wooden hot spring on Kyushu Island.

Sakura-Yu had been loved as a citizen's hot spring from the Edo era to the Meiji era.
The present building was reconstructed in 2012.
This hot spring is very mild.
It is an elegant hot spring facility !!
