The sweets fair of Japanese chestnuts at Yamaga city : Aira Cha-ya

Hello.
This is May in Japan.

I went to Yamaga city, Kumamoto Prefecture, in early November.
The objective of this trip was the sweets fair of Japanese chestnuts at Yamaga city.
Many sweet shops located in Yamaga city sold the sweets using the local chestnuts.

At first, I visited a Japanese old style teahouse.
This is the teahouse, "Aira Cha-ya".
The teahouse is located in the approach to the shrine of temple called the Aira Kannon.

This teahouse is famous for having delicious sweet dumplings.
It is often covered by the media.

This is the sweet dumplings, "Kuri dake Dango".
Kuri dake Dango means the dumpling filling with only chestnuts.

There are 5 dumplings in this 1 pack.
The price is around 650 yen.

It is the dumpling filling with only chestnuts !!
The chestnut is delicious with simple sweetness.
The dough of dumpling is made of wheat flour, and it is sticky.

It is delicious !!
